About Kent Family Mediation Services
Kent Family Mediation Service was established in March 1983 as a not-for-profit registered Charity. We are a member of both:
- The College of Mediators
- Family Mediation Council
The service is Governed by a Board of Trustees, and the day-to-day management of Kent Family Mediation Service and its staff, is overseen by the Service Manager, Emma Steele.
All staff are:
- Fully Qualified, and are provided with regular up to date training (including up to date Government legislation).
- Hold up-to-date Enhanced DBS checks.
- All of our Mediators are accredited to the Family Mediation Council standards.
Our Mission
Kent Family Mediation Services’ Mission is to provide a confidential, impartial and professional family mediation service to all of its service users; including clients and partnering agencies, by using fully trained staff and family mediators. We endeavor to provide the best possible help, advice, and support to families that are affected by a relationship breakdown.
